Abstract

The necessity of determination of eddy current losses, caused by leakage flux, in structural members of three-freedom electric machine is grounded. The method for determining of losses in thin conductive shell, which is penetrated by leakage flux, is developed. The accuracy rating of determination of losses caused by high harmonics of magnetic field is assessed. The dependences of losses from rotor orientation are found for materials with different conductivity. References 2, figures 4.
