Abstract
The modern development of the renewables in European Union and Ukraine has been considered. The quality criteria of the frequency control have been defined considering the variable generation power of solar power plants. The methology for research of solar power plants impacts on frequency control, which is based on approach using scenarios for different operation conditions of interconnected power system of Ukraine, has been proposed.
