Abstract

The modern trends in automated determination of total transfer capacity of interfaces are considered. It is noted that the simplified and time-consuming approach is used in the current conditions in actual practice of NPC “Ukrenergo”. The proposed methodology allows determining the allowable power flows by performing load flow computations on-line. The application of this methodology allows taking into account the many maintenances and faults situations in IPS of Ukraine. To implement the proposed approach, the method of adaptation of step weighting has been developed. This method increases of speed of calculations total transfer capacity. Also, the technique of the trajectories verification to real conditions has been proposed. The basic components for the implementation of the abovementioned approach in practice has been developed.
