Abstract
The investigation of the processes of the frequency control on stage of the inertial response has been conducted considering a significant wind farms and solar power plants generation in the future structure of generation capacity in IPS Ukraine. The processes of the frequency and active power control within the perspective pessimistic and optimistic scenarios of renewables development in the IPS of Ukraine have been considered. The simulation results of the frequency transients in case of 1000 MW unit outage are shown. It is established that perspective integration of the renewables in IPS of Ukraine up to 30% of the total power consumption, does not lead to a significant change of frequency dynamics behavior caused by active power imbalance in the grid.
